Abandoned Home
Shivering Isles is the second expansion for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, set in Sheogorath’s realm of madness. It introduces a new landmass, divided into Mania and Dementia, each with distinct environments and inhabitants, reflecting the two aspects of the Daedric prince of madness.
Unlike the main game, the expansion lacks a proper player-owned base until late in the storyline, and none which is faction-neutral. The Abandoned Home mod was created to fill this gap, providing a simple, believable, and lore-friendly place for resting and item storage.
